To hunt in Ontario, you must have a hunting version of the outdoors card and a applicable license. There are two types of hunters in Ontario, a gun hunter and a non-gun hunter. A gun hunter is allowed to carry a gun, and is allowed to use it on specific hunt able animals. A non gun hunter, is not allowed to carry a gun, but is allowed to carry other weapons, that will allow them to hunt animals.
